Diane was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She met her husband Jeff in 2001, and they were married 7 months later. They built a house, had their second child, and things were great, except for one thing. They were bored. They had seen and done everything that Massachusetts and Rhode Island had to offer. So, they opened a map book and said, If we could go anywhere, where would we go? They picked Atlanta, Georgia. They researched real estate agents in the area online and found one to work with to find a new home. After narrowing down an area of Atlanta, they called their agent, and within a week, they were on a plane to Georgia.
They just loved it here and found a home in Bentwater that had just begun construction. It happened to be the plan they liked the best! Diane and Jeff signed a contract on it that weekend, went back to Massachusetts, and gave notice to their jobs. Diane was a Paramedic at the time with Pathways Ambulance, and Jeff was a career firefighter with the City of Central Falls. Of course, their friends thought they were a little crazy! But, Diane and Jeff put their house in Massachusetts on the market anyway, and within three months, they were living in a hotel in while their new house was being built.
Settling in pretty quickly, Diane and Jeff got to know the area and made lots of great friends. Jeff is also a Master Electrician, so he found a new job and started working as an electrician while waiting to get on with one of the local fire departments. Diane was not sure what career path she wanted to take. Since her paramedic registration was not registered nationally, it was time to look at a career change. She went to work for Hilton Head in Woodstock, but it wasn't what she was looking for. A friend who worked for RE/MAX suggested that Diane consider getting her real estate license.
In 2007, Diane did just that. She became a licensed real estate agent (REALTOR) and went to work for RE/MAX Unlimited. In her first year with RE/MAX, Diane was awarded Rookie of the Year, her second year, she made Top Achievers by selling more than a million dollars in real estate. Diane is so passionate about being a Real Estate Agent, and she is committed to continuously growing and learning. Her clients are her number one priority, and she strives to give them the best possible service and guidance throughout the home buying and selling process. Her philosophy is to make every client feel like they are the one and only client she has.
